Green Practices

VIM is a member of the Sustainable Business Leadership Program and an Aveda concept spa and salon. We partnered with these organizations out of a mutual interest in environmentally sustainable practices. We believe that environmentalism is one of the foremost important matters of our time. As a business we recognize our impact and take action to reduce our footprint.

The following is a list of the steps we’ve taken to be green:

• We utilized FSC certified wood and recycled rubber in construction
• We applied low VOC paint
• We use recycled paper products
• We use low flow showerheads
• We provide sustainably harvested rainforest extract locker room supplies
• We use EPA certified cleaning products
• We use energy star appliances and lighting
